Trader of Stalewater
This smartly dressed middle-aged man has the dignified posture of a soldier about him and speaks in clear & serious tones.
It’s only when he moves that you notice he has a heavy limp
Hail was a career soldier before being wounded in a battle with Comanche some years ago. Unable to fight on the front lines when the civil war broke out, he instead served as a Quartermaster.
He met Pete Adams during the war and traveled with him to Stalewater some time ago. Liking the peace & quiet of the small town, he decided to retire from the military and open a trade shop there. The coming of the railroad has upset his retirement somewhat.
